In 2012 , the efforts to promote the attraction of investment resources in the region . Thus , February 3 took place a meeting of management and administration of the Regional Council CEO of " SCE " Pharmaceutical Factory "( Zhytomyr) and a representative of the English VINAME ltd to implement VINAME ltd company in Zhytomyr district investment project to expand production capacity " SCE "Pharmaceutical factory ." This company is engaged in manufacturing quality and affordable medicines based on natural raw materials of plant and animal origin. In order to analyze the investment performance in districts, to identify the problems that have arisen in the process of investment and outline the main areas of work in this area in 2012 , March 14 of current year Chudniv district held a meeting on inclusion and use of investment resources in the areas of the region . At the event Heads of district administrations informed the meeting participants on the results and prospects of the investment activities of subordinate regions. Furthermore, by inspection of LLC " Style Environment "was made, boiler houses on alternative fuels of Chudniv school and familiarized with the work of branch " Teteriv " LLC "NIBULON ". Besides, on March 15 this year in Zhytomyr city was presented the research of International Finance Corporation "Investment Climate in Ukraine as Seen by Private Businesses, 2011", which was attended by representatives of public authorities, small and medium enterprises, business associations, mass media. April 20, 2012 in Novograd -Volynskyy, was the second phase of the economic and investment forum " Investments of Zvyahelschyna ." The first phase of event was summarized and presented new business proposals for Novograd - Volynskyi district and town in the following sectors: industrial facilities , hotels , entertainment centers, tourist sites , sites for housing, industrial zone for NovoPark business of " greenfield " with area of 270 hectares of land for agriculture and processing industry. The forum presented 55 investment projects worth over $ 200 million . U.S.D. 9 total land area of 412 hectares and 7 vacant industrial and warehouse premises. Investment and economic potential of the region was presented during a visit to Georgia and the Russian Federation , during which a number of promising agreements were reached according to the development of further cooperation of Zhytomyr region with mentioned countries. In September 2012 was held a joint meeting of the Council and working group "Sustainable economic development , business and investment climate ' Committee on Reforms of Zhytomyr region , which reviewed and processed results of investment in the I half of 2012 and the main directions of work in this field in the near future , as well as several other issues of investment sector . Also , from 10 to 14 December delegation of the region visited Germany and Belgium, where was held the presentation of investment and economic potential of Zhytomyr region in Frankfurt -am-Main and Brussels . During the presentations were presented a number of investment projects of enterprises and organizations in the field of mining , agriculture, housing , innovation and other areas . Also export potential of enterprises - members of the delegation and other regional businesses were presented. The Memorandum of Cooperation between the Zhytomyr Region State Administration and Belgian- Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was signed . This year, four companies of territories of priority development carried the implementation of four investment projects in the mining, wood, rubber and plastics machinery industries. Implementation of investment projects of territories of priority development for the current year provided income from sales of businesses in the amount of 443.0 million. Exports were carried out by 4 companies on for a total sum of 293 million. 32 working places were created. Implementation of investment projects provided replenishment the budgets of all levels to 24.6 million.
