Certification of Products According to "CERTPOL" System
"CERTPOL" is a structural element of Zhytomyr Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is a body that provides voluntary certification of goods and estimation of quality of products manufactured and services provided by companies and sole proprietors of Zhytomyr region to customers.
The activity of "CERTPOL" is based upon its statute documents ISO/IES for certification and quality control and corresponds to the requirements of EH45011 standard.
The advantages of «CERTPOL» consist in fact that manufacturers and suppliers represent their products to potential customers as products of good quality, which contributes to the expansion of sales market and enhances credibility of new products.
Certification applies only to products not subjected to mandatory certification in Ukraine.
ЗAny juridical or physical person who needs to obtain a document certifying compliance of definite products with:
- Safety profile; - Requirements of agreements (contracts); - Legal and technical documentation (GSTU and GOSTs); - Technical conditions; - Agreed samples, etc.
Certification of products is carried out by independent qualified experts; accredited research laboratories are involved to conduct research.
Certificate of origin
- Determination of the country of origin of goods (services), as well as execution and attestation of certificates of origin of goods (services) are performed by Zhytomyr Chamber of Commerce and Industry in accordance with current legislation of Ukraine. Depending on the terms of trade, the type of goods and other factors, authorized experts of Examination and Certification Department of Zhytomyr CCI properly execute:
- • Certificate Form "A" (in English or French) is issued for goods of Ukrainian origin, covered by preferential treatment of the General System of Preferences, exported to EU, Japan, Turkey and United States markets;
- • Certificate Form EUR-1 (in English) is issued when exporting goods to Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein; • Certificate Form CT -1 (in Russian) is issued for goods of Ukrainian origin exported to the CIS countries;
- • Certificate Form EUR-1, Series M (in English) is issued for goods of Ukrainian origin exported to the Republic of Macedonia;
- • Certificate of General Form (in English and Russian) is issued for goods of Ukrainian origin exported to countries not subjected to rules for determining the country of origin of goods and in cases when goods have no preferential access to market of country of importation as well as in case of absence or absence or temporary cessation of benefits for Ukrainian goods;
- • Certificate of Origin Form U-1 (in Ukrainian) is issued for goods to be acknowledged Ukrainian within the customs territory of Ukraine;
- • Certificate of Origin (in English or Spanish) is issued to confirm the Ukrainian origin of goods exported to the United Mexican States, and subjected to preferences are in Mexico;
- • Certificate of free trade is issued at the request of tax inspections, banking institutions, etc. of importing countries;
- • Certificate of Origin of Services is issued to confirm the performance of service (eg. transportation, etc.) by Ukrainian company or subject of Ukrainian foreign trade activity within or outside the customs territory of Ukraine. This certificate is used within Ukraine;
- • Certificate of Own Products is issued for goods produced by companies of Ukraine under the law "On Foreign Investment".
- • Determination of the country of origin of goods (services), attestation and the issuance of certificates of origin of goods (services) are carried out in accordance with international conventions, international agreements, effective legislation of Ukraine and "Instruction on the procedure for determining the country of origin of goods/services, execution and attestation of certificates of appropriate forms" approved by the Presidium of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Minutes № 21 (5) of February 27, 2002.
OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED BY EXAMINATION AND CERTIFICATION DEPARTMENT:
- • Execution and attestation of certificates of origin of all forms (Appendix №1)
- • Execution of duplicate certificate, issuance of certificate re-executed
- • Preparation of expert report on the origin of goods (services) at the written request of the customer simultaneously with execution of the certificate
- • Preparation of expert report on the origin of goods (services) at the written request of the customer after the execution of the certificate
- • Execution of additional sheet to the certificate
- • Identification of domestic producer with issuance of expert report in cases a producer is engaged in foreign economic activity • Issuance of replacement certificate
